Our Summer..& exciting NEWS

It seems as though my little blog has been put on the back burner this Summer. Anyone here? I know I am a more active blogger in the fall and winter months, how about you? I also know I put on more weight in the summer, anyone else? All the cookouts, boating, pool instead of gym, ya know. We have spent fun times at the river, trips to Kings Island, the pool, and the husband and I are going to sneak off and go to Chicago THIS WEEKEND to the lalapoloza festival. Follow me on instgram for some fun Chicago shots. Its an awesome people watching festival we have scheduled out our weekend and which bands we have to see, so excited! Will be good and do a trip recap post.

The girls seem like they are now pre teens instead of kids  & the baby transforming into a toddler right in front of our eyes! Life goes way too fast. Watching them change on a daily basis is just mind blowing. The baby can pull up on everything, my bet is that she will be walking by 10 months, 11 max. I have started to put away some of her infant things and she is outgrowing 6-9 month cloths, sad panda!

News....NEWS FLASH ....WE ARE MOVING. Yep. We are moving onto our parents property & rennovating their home, adding a new wing and foundation. Super excited! Everyone will have thier own room. More details to come...this will be our backyard :

I can imagine my husband and kids out there having picnics, fishing, and enjoying the beautiful view for years to come!

Easter weekend

Easter ...best Easter yet! Not only because little diva was here dressed to the nines in her adorable bonnet, but we had the girls this year with her as well. We colored the eggs on Thursday and the bunny came early on Saturday. He left nice treats, toys and even the man a basket. Then we were off to my aunts annual Easter egg hunt, bunny included. We lucked out weather wise (as you know if you are in the north we have been having a MAJOR long winter, it even snowed today), it was very sunny and the kids had a fun time. Collage of pictures below.

FINALLY... October

October 2012 best month of all time! Why ? My daughter's arrival, I cannot believe it is actually here !! Only 3 more weeks until this pregnancy turns into a miracle.

Dear Baby,

The day I found out you were coming, February 16th, was one of the best days of my life. I felt so much joy and love for you instantly. Your daddy and I were so excited, grateful, and surprised that you came to us so quickly. I remember seeing you on the ultrasound screen and feeling you for the very first time around 16 weeks, wow did that make mommy happy! Then seeing you again a little later smile on the screen when mommy started to talk ...... that beautiful moment  I will NEVER forget, I cannot even begin to describe it!

It seemed like it would take forever before we got to meet you. Now here we are sweet little diva in the month of October, your birth month. Mommy wants you in her arms so badly she can barley stand it! Before all the excitement begins with your birth, I just wanted to let you know what an honor it has been carrying you in my tummy. I am going to miss feeling your hiccups (a lot) and your cute little feet pressed up against the outside of my belly. I am also going to miss special "morning moments" you have with daddy when you kick him and play while mommy is still trying to sleep. I have loved having you with me at all times knowing that I am responsible for your safety.

Daddy and I love you sweet baby and promise to always love and protect you for the rest of our lives. You have a mommy, daddy, three sisters, grandparents and more waiting for you to come into the world with open loving arms. Love you always and forever,

Mommy

Baby Shower

My baby shower was this past Sunday. Weather? Beautiful! How'd it go? Perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better shower. It was very intimate. There were about 21 family and close friends there whom gathered in a circle to show their love and support for this baby. I couldn't have been happier. My mother in law hosted it at her house with the help of some of her friends. We ate bbq, shrimp, had delicious sides, along with cupcakes and the cake pops my cousin made. Everything was delicious. We only played one game (because who really likes the games?) and during the present opening drew names for prizes (gift cards) so guest weren't super bored. I didn't want to pass my gifts around but of course my mom the overly excited on cloud nine over the top grandma to be wanted to. We really got a lot of great stuff. Only a few more items that need to be purchased and were done, all we need is little baby diva! I leave this post with some pictures of the day, which I will never forget!
